Conditions we care for

We are here for you, providing the expert care you need

Certain conditions need specialists to give the right care

Whether it’s an illness, a life-changing injury or a condition that has existed since birth, Christies Care has the expertise and experience to give you the care you need to live your life as independently as possible, in the comforting surroundings of your own home.

All our carers go through extensive initial training so they are able to help with a range of conditions, and we also give them regular supplementary training to ensure they are fully up to date with the latest techniques and advances.

Just as importantly, we always look at the person, not the condition. We work to bring enjoyment into people’s lives, helping them keep the things that are valuable to them, and treating them with compassion, dignity and respect.

General Age-Related Needs

Christies Care has over thirty years experience providing the support needed to deal effectively with the various challenges of ageing.

We are able to provide high quality dementia home care services that support a range of conditions, including Alzheimer’s disease and vascular dementia.

Customer testimonial

“I was looking after Mum, and trying to keep my own family on track. I wasn’t giving anybody the attention they needed and I just couldn’t do it any more. Now I can breathe. And Mum is Mum again, not a duty.”

A very good experience from booking the carer through to the time the carer spent with my mother. The carer was attentive, patient and kind. Altogether a very professional service. I would use this company again if further care was required.

Both the recent Christies' carers for Mum, 92, and Dad, 101, have fitted in extremely well. They have taken the time to understand my parents' routines and cater for their preferences. I am impressed with the kindness and the high standard of care provided.
