We provide expert care, nationwide.

Our Local Area Managers are the people who make sure that we get the care right. They are the people who meet our clients, face to face. They know the situation on the ground.

Our clients meet their Local Area Manager right at the beginning, before they even start. The Local Area Manager will come and meet our potential client and their family, will get to know them and understand their hopes and fears. The Local Area Manager is also there to answer all questions and to give impartial advice.

The Local Area Managers visit their clients, regularly, once care has started, to make sure that everything is OK.
Another key responsibility of the Local Area Manager is helping the carers. Care is tough work, and our carers need people to talk to, who will listen and give sensible advice.

In short, the team are there to be your local Christies Care representative. So, wherever you are in the country, there is always someone close, with whom you can have a face to face meeting and who will be able to make things better.

Prior to joining Christies Care, I cared for and supported people with learning disabilities, mental health difficulties, as well as individuals with behaviours that challenge. I found empowering individuals to live as independently as possible and engaging them in meaningful activities, immensely rewarding. This also provided me with the valuable experience of working in partnership with many different professionals who are involved in someone’s care.
