Domiciliary Care Services

Domiciliary care, better known as home care offers you flexibility, to enable you to receive care that works around your routines in the comfort of your own home

What is Domiciliary care and how can it help you?

Domiciliary care is the term used to describe care services that enable a person to receive care in their own home rather than having to stay in hospital for a prolonged period or face the upheaval of moving to a residential care home.

These days, domiciliary care, also known as home care, is an increasingly common alternative to residential care and is widely considered to be the better option for people who require care assistance at any time of life.

One of the many benefits of domiciliary care, or home care services, is flexibility. Care visits in your home can be arranged from as little as 1 hour per week, or 1 visit per day or more, depending on your needs. Christies Care Ltd also offers around-the-clock live-in care, rated outstanding by the CQC, to provide 24/7 care and support if your needs become more complex.

The advantage of domiciliary care

Our domiciliary care services are tailored to meet our clients’ changing requirements. Many people are introduced to domiciliary care at a point when they would benefit from quality care assistance and help with everyday tasks at home to keep themselves well and their home comfortable and in order.

The advantage of domiciliary care is in providing essential support that fits in with your lifestyle and your existing routine. There is no need for the upset and upheaval that inevitably comes with moving into a care home, instead you can remain at home with some light assistance which enables you to continue to live independently whilst providing you with the comfort and reassurance of an extra pair of hands.

Our trusted and professional carers can help with a wide range of assisted care needs including:

Domiciliary services offer the safest care option for your loved one

There is no doubt that the one-to-one support our domiciliary care service offers gives you the best possible care.

Having the full and undivided attention of your carer has many benefits for your health and wellbeing. As such, the level of support live-in or hourly home care offers is unrivaled by the care you would receive in a care home.

You can also be safe in the knowledge that our carers receive essential infection control training to ensure you are treated with care with safety, health and hygiene uppermost in our minds.

All our Christies Carers are PCR tested each week to provide a lab result that ensures they are Coronavirus free. All our carers wear regulation PPE and we also send lateral flow testing kits to all our clients so that when a carer arrives with them, we are able to ensure that both have received negative results before care commences.
