Meet the team

Your local Wolverhampton branch of Christies Care is owned by Managing Director Dr Rejith Rag.

Dr Rag has an extensive medical background, in 2000 he became a medical graduate of the University of Calicut before taking a post-graduate degree specialising in Ophthalmology. As his medical career progressed, Dr Rag went on to become a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow in 2010, enabling him to work as a consultant with the NHS.

Dr Rag’s passion for excellent service provision has led him to a pursue a career in social care. He has built a dedicated team who share his passion for delivering care at the highest standard with the compassion and expertise Christies Care is renowned for.  The Wolverhampton branch is proud to deliver a service built on strong foundations to meet the changing needs of the local community which enable more people to continue to live well in their own home.

Our tailored home visiting service is arranged according to your individual needs, providing regular assistance to help you retain your independence and continue to live life as you wish. Starting from as little as just one hour per week or as often as you need it. Our services include:

Housekeeping and home hygiene

Our hourly care team can help you with a range of domestic tasks to help keep your home in order:

  • Companionship Care – helping to alleviate loneliness and isolation
  • Waking Night Care
  • Light house-cleaning duties
  • Laundry and bed-making
  • Meal planning and preparation
  • Pet care including dog walking
  • Grocery shopping

Personal care and hygiene

Your hourly carer can assist your personal comfort according to your needs, helping as necessary with:

  • Assistance with morning and bedtime routines

Assisting with mobility

Our carers are trained in all aspects of mobility support:

  • Use of hoisting and lifting equipment
  • Help and encouragement with physio exercises.
  • Accompaniment for outdoor exercise

Managing and administering medication

Our carers can also help with:

  • PEG feeds
  • Changing dressings

Help to arrange and attend healthcare appointments

If you need a nurse for something more, our care team are able to work closely with District Nurses and other community health networks to assist with appointments and visits.
